VISTA中释放系统还原占用的硬盘空间

在Windows XP中，系统还原功能所占用的硬盘空间便不是一个小数字，让许多朋友对这个功能又爱又恨。而在Windows Vista中，虽然系统还原的功能更加强大，但也许是由于近年来大容量硬盘的普及，微软似乎愈加变本加厉地不拿硬盘空间当回事，系统还原所需的硬盘空间更 加庞大：曾有人在运行四天的Windows Vista测试系统中发现，系统还原共耗费了30Gb的空间，虽然在类似的测试过程中系统需频繁设置还原点，但30Gb仍然未免太过份了些。?D?D当 然，这也与该测试系统的C盘，即系统分区，较大有关，Windows Vista使用一定比例的系统分区空间，因此如果系统分区设置得小些，系统还原占用的硬盘空间则到不了30Gb这样夸张的数字。
无论如何，如果您不愿意自己的硬盘被系统还原无端地占用，或者想尽可能地节省硬盘空间，可以考虑关闭系统还原功能，或者精减系统还原文件，通过只保存最近的系统还原点而删除之前版本的方式达到释放硬盘空间的目的。下面我们详细介绍这两种方法。

I. 只保存最近的系统还原点以释放硬盘空间

依次点击：开始 => 所有程序 => 附件 => 系统工具 => 磁盘清理，在弹出的对话框中选择“本计算机上所有用户的文件”； 在UAC (用户帐户控制)询问是否继续的警告对话框，选择继续； 如果机器内有多个硬盘或硬盘上有多个分区，会弹出一个指定要清理硬盘的窗口，在此选择系统分区； 磁盘清理工具会首先扫描硬盘，然后跳转到选项页，在此选择“其他选项”，然后点击“系统还原”属性中的“清理”；
当弹出的“你确信要删除所有还原点(除最近的以外)吗?”对话框中点击“是”，即大功告成。
在很多情况下，通过执行上面的步骤，可用磁盘空间将会有很大幅度的提升。

II. 关闭系统还原以释放硬盘空间

首先需要指出的是，关闭系统还原不是一个好的选择，这也是微软一直建议用户不要采取的措施，尤其对一般用户而言，关闭系统还原意味着系统失去自意外故障中 恢复的能力。而且，相比较而言，Windows Vista中的系统还原与Windows XP相比有了很大的提高，能够更有效地维护系统。

在Windows Vista中关闭系统还原的操作与Windows XP类似，当然，区别还是有的，简单介绍如下：
在“电脑”站单击右键，选择“属性”，然后选择“高级系统设置”； 在UAC (用户帐户控制)询问是否继续的警告对话框，选择继续； 在“系统属性”窗口，选择“系统保护”选项卡； 在“可用的驱动器”列表中，清除对所有硬盘分区的选定；
在“确定关闭系统还原”的提示窗口中，选择“关闭系统还原”；

将APE格式音频文件刻录CD

如何播放APE格式音频文件

APE是一种音频CD无损压缩格式，推荐用foobar2000、WINAMP（旧版本需要安装插件）、WMP（旧版本需要安装插件）播放。

从网上下载的几种常见的APE情况：

-A.由一个很大的 CDImage.ape 和 CDImage.cue 文件组成

-B.由若干个小的*.ape 和一个 *.cue 文件组成

-C.有若干个小的*.ape 而没有 CUE文件

-D.由若干个小的*.ape 和一个 *.fpl 文件组成

其中ape是压缩的音频文件；cue是镜像信息文件（同时也是菜单文件），里面记录的就是这张碟各音轨起始时间等信息; fpl只是菜单文件。

foobar可以直接导入cue文件，只要cue里的信息没错，就可以选曲播放了。

把APE文件刻录成CD的方法：APE->WAV->CD

1. 用foobar 2000（或者Mpney Audio)将APE文件转为WAV波形文件。

－在目标APE文件上右键，”转换”-”转换设置”，设置需要转换的wav格式，一般设置为WAV(PCM-定点16位)

－对于只有一个APE和一个CUE文件的CD，如果只想要转其中的几个曲子，可以打开CUE文件，选中你要转的点右键进行转换。

－将APE文件转转MP3或者其他格式的方法是一样的。

2. 修改cue文件

－用记事本打开APE音频的菜单信息CUE文件，把第三行中的”*.ape” 改成“*.wav”，注意“*.wav”文件名应与转换后的wav文件名相同，另外起名保存修改后的cue文件。

3. 用Nero（或EAC，Alcohol 120%）导入修改后的cue文件进行CD刻录

－必须从文件类型里选CUE类型以后才能够选，否则你看不到CUE文件。

－选择合适的低速度刻录。

说明：

－使用foobar 2000或Nero（需要插件）直接将APE文件刻录CD 可能对音质和CD寿命有影响，所以推荐APE->WAV->CD的方法。

－不要用Nero直接导入转换后的WAV文件，这样刻录的CD音质不好，而且不能选曲播放。

－如果没有cue文件，而下载的文件是每个音轨单独对应一个APE，将各个APE文件分别转换为wav后，一个一个文件分别导入Nero后刻录。

Make sure POP access is turned on for your Gmail account.

Setup
I’ll assume you have installed the WebMail extension and at least one of the optional components, if you haven’t please do so.

The first step is to check the WebMail extension is running. Go to the WebMail options, on the server panel the status of the three servers is displayed. The status for the enabled server(s) should be “Running”. If the WebMail extension fails to start this could be due to the operating system blocking ports below 1024, try setting the port to value higher than 1024 and restart Thunderbird.

Check you have installed the necessary domain handlers. Go to WebMail options, on the domains panel is a list of supported domains.

POP Account Creation
From the main menu select File->New->Account.

In the Account wizard select “Email Account”

On the Identity page set your name and email address.

Enter the following server information.

Server Type : POP

Incoming Server : localhost

The user name MUST include the domain

Follow the new account wizard to the end

If you changed the port number during the WebMail setup stage you must change the port number for this account in “Account Settings” (tools menu).

SMTP Account Creation
Open “Account settings”, select the “Outgoing server” option from the tree and press the “Add Account” button.

Use the following server details.

Server Name : localhost

User Name : username@domain
